The craft
No machine touches this.
Every SAROGUL shawl begins as plain wool and a piece of tailor's chalk. The pattern is drawn freehand — no stencil, no repeat — then stitched over days by women artisans in the villages of Swat.
Because the chalk lines are drawn once and washed away, no design can ever be made again. What you hold exists exactly once.

The mark in the corner
Every finished piece carries the peak and wave, stitched by hand into one corner. It is the artisan's signature, not a label — proof a person, not a factory, made this.
If it doesn't carry the mark, it isn't ours.
